CPL Course Information
There are so many new and exciting possibilities that lay ahead. A whole wide world of new adventures is open to you; new aircraft, new destinations, and a new lifestyle. Our Commercial Pilot training program will teach you all of the special rules, regulations, and skills required to keep you, your airplane, and most importantly your passengers safe.
The commercial single and multi-engine license will enable you to work without any restrictions in any airline or with any operator. This license is the best of both worlds since you can start flying singles and move onto twins once you have the required experience.
Commercial pilots work in major airlines all over the world as well as in mail/cargo carriers like DHL and FEDEX or business jets for big corporations. Most pilots gain the experience required for these jobs by working as flight instructors, charters and tour pilots, glider & banner towing, and crop dusting.
STAGE 1
Stage 1: Flight Experience. Before training with an instructor, you will acquire the flight time required to meet the minimum GACA requirements. RWAA will tell you exactly how much time you need and from there set up a customized training program to fit your needs.
STAGE 2
Stage 2: SEL Manoeuvres. Once you accumulate the required, which includes time acquiring your private and instrument rating and pass the commercial written exam; your training can begin. You will do flights to build your confidence and add value to your overall flying experience. You will also receive ground training.
STAGE 3
Stage 3: Multi-Engine time. Multi-engine aircraft allow commercial operations to travel farther, faster and higher while carrying the largest loads possible per flight. This stage focuses exclusively on how to master multi-engine flying and the theory behind it.
